One year olds are encouraged to use their senses to learn about and make sense of their world. The children are
exposed to a nice mix of activities during the day to teach different skills, such as singing, dancing, and storytelling.
Language development and listening skills are encouraged through verbal and visual stimulation of color, shapes, numbers, animals, environment, building, and more through music, communication and sensory.
Age 01 Program
STARTING AT $195/week

The two year old program offers many of the instructional projects are a good mix of left- and right-brain activities, usually made of simple objects like blocks or beans or vinyl letters for creativity, but presented in an organized, structured, and methodical way.
The curriculum incorporates age appropriate math, literacy, science, art, music and social science concepts. The children can benefit from the chance to socialize with other children.
Age 02 Program
STARTING AT $185/week

Young children learn through play and creative activity, so children building blocks and train tracks aren't just entertaining; they're teaching problem solving and physics. A 3 years old class is also a time for developing good learning habits and positive self-esteem.
Our curriculum incorporates age appropriate math, literacy, science, art, music and social science. Children will be able to explore outdoors where physical fitness, health and nutrition, are also encouraged.
Pre-K 03 Program
STARTING AT $170/week

Our VPK program features an advanced, age-appropriate curriculum in math, literacy, science, art, music, and social studies, with a strong focus on phonetic and numerical awareness. Children learn to recognize and name letters, print their names, and connect letters to sounds, building a strong foundation for reading and writing.
Classrooms include learning centers that encourage exploration, play, and group learning. All students, including those who miss the September cutoff, engage with the full curriculum. These experiences help prepare children for kindergarten, both academically and socially, in a familiar and supportive environment .
Pre-K 04 / VPK Program

All of our classes are bilingual. Our curriculum consists of music, art, storytelling, games, songs, and dancing. The curriculum also includes the recognition of numbers, letters, colors, and shapes. Our pre-kindergarten classes are designed to prepare our children for elementary education.

Registration and supplies fees are due in July or upon enrollment of child and effective from August through July. No refunds on registration and supplies fees.

10% Discount
Little Shaver Learning Center offers the FIU community a 10 % discount on tuition cost and 10 % discount on registration fees. In order to obtain discount, employees must present their FIU ID card upon enrollment/payment.
